The world has gradually begun to become a difficult place to live in. We are now in an age where no one understands anyone, where bigotry is gradually turning into popular culture, where trusting, believing in and loving people has become impossible. As people who want to remain honorable in life, who want to live humanely and see that life is lived humanely, we are very helpless and alone. It is certain that this course, this destruction, this disregard aims at no other end than our lifetime.

For example, child massacres, murders of women and war are gradually increasing everywhere in the world. Alongside these, corrupted political cultures and systems that only exploit peoples continue to invest in these environments of chaos as well as in their social projects. Many sectors, fields of work, activities and projects that we see as innocent are, in fact, nothing more than works that darken the future of every individual or make it even more unlivable, rather than being a voluntary activity or a struggle for life.

I am unable to describe the unhappiness and selfishness I see on the faces of people around me. The fact that a smile has turned into something we can never find on people’s faces at the end of an intense work tempo can clearly show us how wild these systems are and how contrary they are to human nature.

In my final words, there is a question I want you to think about: When was the last time you were able to trust someone, the words they said, the way they looked at you? Can you describe the last sincere smile you remember?
