The USA is a country that has a say in many matters in the world and has written its name into history with technological investments, inventions, developments, and brands. I think that in Turkey, where there is no sign of human life, the elected parliamentarians and governments can be such ignorant, reactionary, dirty, blood-stained, mafia-like types, but you Americans — you, who have built your country with migrations and asylum from all over the world, you, among whom there are people of every color, educated people, people who have produced, written, achieved — how did you elect a man like Trump?
What did doing this add to you, and what did it take away from you? Did you not weigh it at all? I suppose you did not make this calculation either. The bad part is that there are elections again in the USA. I wonder whether this weighing mechanism will work in the eyes and minds of the peoples, or should Aziz Nesin’s words, “60% of this country are sheep,” be adapted as: “Is 80% of this world racist, fascist, conscienceless, immoral, and bigoted?”
I do not know.
