There are many peoples in the world whose populations do not even reach one hundred thousand and who have declared their sovereignty on lands belonging to them. Perhaps they have not been a military power or have not been taken as seriously as the psychopathic states that lash out in every direction, but they are protecting and building their own independence, their own culture and their own future. For a people, nothing can be more important than this.

The Kurds, meanwhile, who have one of the world’s most significant population concentrations and still remain stateless in their own lands, have obtained no cultural, social, linguistic or democratic rights despite having a population of 60 million. When the independence of countries whose populations do not even reach one hundred thousand is taken into consideration, this points to a serious problem. This problem is entirely a matter of a lack of will and purpose.

The Kurds know very well what needs to happen, which murderous states are responsible for the problems they experience, how they are forcibly separated from their own culture and language today, how they are being massacred and subjected to genocide. Among those who know this situation are, first and foremost, the families, tribes and individuals who have undertaken to lead the Kurdish people. However, none of them has grasped the following: unless the objective is a Fully Independent, Undivided Kurdistan State encompassing all Kurds, these problems will not be resolved. What I mean by a lack of purpose and will is that none of the leaders who have emerged or been brought forward until now has seriously demonstrated the will or objective to establish Kurdistan and make Kurdistan independent, nor have they undertaken national and international initiatives for this purpose. This deficiency has naturally been reflected among the people as a lack of self-confidence and has caused the people to move closer to the thought: “Nothing will come of these people; at least let us not be massacred.”

In the chaotic situation in which we now find ourselves, the Kurds have another enormous opportunity before them. They can fight for independence and, together with the Kurdistan Autonomous Administration, transform at least the territories of Kurdistan under Iranian occupation into an independent state. The peoples both in Rojhilat and in the Kurdistan Autonomous Administration have already demonstrated the existence of this will. While the back of the fascist Iranian state is currently broken, the Kurds must, with the support of Israel and the USA, liberate their own lands from the hands of these murderous states and transform them into an independent Kurdish state.

At the same time, the Kurds in Rojava must immediately join the territories of Kurdistan that will be liberated, using the armed forces and structures in their hands, and free themselves from the yoke of the bloody-handed, terrorist and murderous remnants of ISIS. Seeing and understanding this, and preparing its foundations today, is not difficult at all. It is very clear that the USA and Israel are looking for a reliable ally in the region. Instead of leaving this alliance to fascist occupying states, the Kurdistan Autonomous Administration and the Rojhilat parties must undertake it and, by also using the military knowledge and capacity of the SDF, completely clear these regions of the occupying states. While hands extended openly for an agreement remain hanging in the air, the Kurds must stop scratching their heads, shake the extended hand and get to work. Otherwise, the murderous Turkish state, the murderous Iranian state and their puppet, the murderous Golani, will continue to spill blood on these lands and continue to assimilate and annihilate the Kurds on these lands.

Kurdistan must be made independent, and for this independence to become permanent, a transition must be made from the current tribal mentality to a serious state structure. Otherwise, it will be difficult to maintain this independence, and these occupying states will do everything in their power to eliminate Kurdistan. However, they will never dare to wage war because the sanctioning power of the allies is also evident. Since such serious sanctions would create serious costs, neither the murderous Turkish state, nor the Iranian state whose back is broken, nor Golani will dare to take this risk.

Independence must be achieved, protected and expanded despite the people, through the resistance of the people and against the enemy.
