A mentality that has lost its morality; an order that has allowed racism to penetrate politics, institutions and every cell of society...
An order that has turned hatred into the foundation of its self-glorification; that uses religion and culture as instruments of power; that has made almost everything related to humanity disappear; and that places the burden of honor upon women while leaving dishonor, violence and criminality unpunished...
The officials of this order, the perpetrators it protects and the mentality it represents burned people alive in the recent past. They killed your children while they were playing outside your homes. Your children were raped and abused in Quran courses. You and your children were beaten and tortured to prevent you from speaking your mother tongue.
People were beaten with belts. They were killed in custody and forcibly disappeared. Pregnant women were killed; their stomachs were cut open, their babies removed and murdered. Your children were tied behind police vehicles and dragged through the centers of cities. Your villages were burned. Attempts were made to destroy your history and steal your stories.
You were mocked. You were made to work, but you were not paid for your labor. You were massacred with aircraft and bombs.
This political culture, which normalizes violence, racism, corruption and impunity, has decayed. Its morality has decayed. The intellectual level of the matters it discusses and occupies itself with has fallen to the ground.
There is no limit to the corruption committed, the money stolen and the property seized. Human life is extremely cheap in the eyes of the representatives of this order. They act with brutality, cruelty and as though they were the embodiment of evil.
Instead of producing a lasting contribution to humanity, they construct their official history around how many people were killed, how many peoples were massacred and how many nations were exploited. We are facing a vast mentality that declares murder to be heroism, aggression to be victory and oppression to be a source of national pride.
And this mentality continues to do all these things.
It still looks down upon you.
It still denies your existence.
It still celebrates the days on which you were killed and massacred.
It continues to brainwash your children and attempts to take away their language and identity. It fires bullets at you with the taxes collected from you. It fills prisons with you. It continues to declare that the best version of you is the dead version of you.
Driven by hatred and a thirst for blood, this mentality waits for the day when it can attack you once again.
