The agreements and contracts that countries or societies make with one another, as well as initiatives aimed at coexistence or trade, are things that bring several countries or societies together and elevate them collectively. Within this framework, initiatives similar to NATO and BRICS, along with many other organizations and bodies, have been established around the world.
In the same way, the Kurds must also become part of an organization or body. Although Kurdistan has not yet achieved its independence, Kurdish groups, initiatives, companies, organizations and institutions have to come together with other societies around the world through such agreements, contracts and objectives.
Especially for the Kurds, within the region where they live and throughout the geography of Kurdistan, the community with which they most need to maintain relations is the Jewish community, and naturally the State of Israel, Israeli companies, groups, associations, organizations and institutions. The only two groups in the region that prioritize democratic, secular and humane life are the Kurds and the Jews. For this reason, the two societies must act together through cooperation, agreements and initiatives that will allow them to support one another in the best possible way and liberate the dynamics of the region from the hegemony of murderous states such as Iran and Turkey.
Israel is inevitably the most stable and developed power in the region. At the same time, in complete contrast to the occupying states that exploit the Kurds, Israel and the Jewish community are the only state and community that support a democratic and free life. This situation corresponds exactly with Kurdish interests, and the path that the Kurds must follow for their independence consists entirely of the principles of the State of Israel. Being together with the organizations and institutions of the State of Israel, as well as the initiatives, associations and organizations of Jewish communities, is the Kurds’ only way out. Furthermore, the Kurds, who have lived in the same region for centuries and have consistently followed democratic and secular principles, are also a very suitable ally for Israel and the Jews. The Kurds are the only group that has never caused them problems throughout history and has never become the slave of reactionary groups, antisemitic groups or ideologies. Since this is their natural conduct, it makes the Kurds the most suitable ally for Israel.
I do not believe that Israel has any reservations whatsoever about cooperation with the Kurds. Moreover, beginning with the Kurdish communities living in Israel and Kurdish Jews, there are many Kurds like me who support Israel’s policies and believe that it is the right ally. However, those who primarily need to understand this are the political parties and organizations in Bakur and Başur; then the Kurdish parties that have been subjected to massacres by the fascist Iranian state must understand it; and most of all, the DSG and its political extensions in Rojava, which have stood alongside Israel for years yet have failed to see that Israel is the most suitable ally, must see and accept it.
Only when the Kurds sufficiently grasp this reality will the pressures on the Kurds and the progress made on the path toward Kurdish independence become visible at a certain level and gain stability. Without alliance, especially without alliances based on win-win principles in which interests coincide, it is impossible for the Kurds to become independent. The Kurds must free themselves as soon as possible from the fascist-genocidal yoke of the Turks, Persians and Arabs and turn toward the right alliances.
